The post provides Anaesthetic cover for critical care as well as a range of surgical specialities, on the basis of 10 programmed activities of cover. Participation in a 1:7 duty rota is expected.
Other duties include pre and post-operative visiting of patients, audit, administrative, and other departmental functions.


Person Specification

MBBS or equivalent
FRCA or equivalent
Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practise (or be eligible for full GMC registration)
Minimum of 2 years of continuous experience in Anaesthetics
Minimum 4 years full time post graduate experience
Efficiency in teamwork and superior communication skills
