Clinical Physiology at the Hospital is one of the largest units in the country with more than 170 employees. In the nuclear medicine section approximately 7900 inquiries per year are performed, including about 1900 PET / CT. Within gamma camera technology the majority of the country ongoing investigations are performed. There are six gamma cameras, studies with FDG are performed. PET / CT operations are developing rapidly. PET / CT operations are conducted in close cooperation with the radiological clinic. Research opportunities are good. PET/CT and advanced gamma camera examinations: 1.6 million, Basal Gamma camera scans: 500000
There are 7 Specialists in nuclear medicine, two resident physicians 18 Biomedical laboratory / radiology nurses employed at the hospital.
 
Description of the job offer and location:
Work as a specialist in nuclear medicine, containing all types of gamma camera examinations and PET / CT, preferably with FDG. During the coming years there will be PET / CT with other tracers put up.
A PET / MRI is scheduled for installation in 2018.

Requirements:
Specialist title in Nuclear medicine

Be able to complete the Swedish intensive course.

Experience in gamma camera examinations and PET / CT, primarily with
FDG.

Research experience is an advantage.
