Duties and responsibilities:
The post holder will be expected to work closely with the existing breast radiologists as part of a multidisciplinary Breast Team.
It is envisaged that the post holder will have at least 4 sessions for breast work. General radiology work and the job plan will be finalised in detail with the successful candidate to take into account the interests of the candidate and the needs of the department. There will be opportunities to progress to Screening Director and Service lead.
The typical job plan will have 8.5 PAs of DCC time of which at least 4 will be Breast sessions. The core SPA allocation is 1.5PAs, with a further 1PA of SPA time available if additional roles are undertaken.

Person Specification:
MBBS / MBChB or equivalent
FRCR or equivalent
Higher Qualification e.g. MD in Radiology
Full GMC/Specialist registration with a Licence to Practise (or be eligible for full GMC registration)
Minimum of 2 years of continuous experience in Radiology
Consultant level experience
Experience of audit in Radiology
Good Leadership and Management skills
Efficiency in Teamwork and superior communication skills
