We are looking for:
We are looking for a specialist in Internal medicine with focus on stroke for a county hospital in central Sweden
About the department and the work:
You will work at the stroke department where you will work with stroke patients and general internal medicine patients. The department has approximately 22-24 beds. The working hours are 8 – 17 Monday – Friday. No duties in the first three years. The catchment area is approximately 100,000. At the stroke department there are 2 senior doctors, 2 doctors (resident doctors or doctors in training)
Requirement:
You need to be a specialist in internal medicine with a few years of experience as a specialist. You need to have had your focus on stroke or neurology. It is a great advantage that you can speak English or German, since you are expected to communicate with your prospective colleagues and managers at the interviews in Sweden.
Expectations:
You will get all the help and assistance needed for a smooth move to the new city in Sweden, but you will need to spend some energy as well. You must also learn Swedish, something we can help you with.
