We are looking for a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology for permanent position.
Our customer is a medium-sized public hospital in Mid-Norway and needs to strengthen its gynaecology department with a new colleague.

About the hospital:
The hospital is serving a population of 55,000 during weekdays and 120,000 during weekends. It is a public hospital localised on the coast in the middle of Norway and is a well-functioning hospital for the local municipalities. There are about 640 employees at the hospital, who have a duty function in different medical fields. The hospital is located in the centre, with walking distance to most things.

Responsibilities:
Pre- and postnatal care at the actual hospital
Pre- and postnatal care at the hospital nearby
Responsibility during labors, both vaginal and cesarians
OB/GYN outpatient clinic at both hospitals
About the gynaecological department:

As your consultant, I will follow through with you all the way from recruitment to employment.

About the place:
The town is beautifully located on the rocky coast facing the sea and has a rich offer with cafes, restaurants, nightlife and culture. The city has its own opera house with several annual productions, and there are also several festivals throughout the year. The place has a large music community as well as the newly established “culture factory” in the heart of the city centre.

Around the city there are great nature that awaits you, no matter what your interest should be! The “inner valley” is perhaps one of Norway’s most beautiful valleys with endless possibilities for hiking both high and low, and the entrance here is just a short drive from the city. The same goes for “Trollheimen” and its beautiful mountain peaks.

From the city there is a good daily bus connection to the other cities in the county and there is a fast boat to nearest bigger city. Famous boat Hurtigruten docks in the city every day. Just outside the city there is an airport with several daily departures to Oslo, Bergen and other big cities, as well as some departures abroad.
