We are looking for a specialist in Internal medicine with focus on emergency for a county hospital in central Sweden
About the department and the work:
At AVA (Emergency Department) you will work with mixed patients such as cardiology, infection, gastro-, endocrine patients. Access to consultants in all specialties will be available. Here there are 22 beds. The working hours are 8 – 17 Monday – Friday. No duties in the first three years. The catchment area is approximately 100,000. At AVA there are 2 specialists, 3 doctors in training / resident doctors and nurses.
Requirement:
At AVA, You need to be a specialist in internal medicine with focus on emergency care. You need to have a few years of experience as a specialist. It is a great advantage that you can speak English or German, since you are expected to communicate with your prospective colleagues and managers at the interviews in Sweden.
Expectations:
You will get all the help and assistance needed for a smooth move to the new city in Sweden, but you will need to spend some energy as well. You must also learn Swedish, something we can help you with.
